“Thank you for your faithful partnership with Unto® and your generosity to provide mobility equipment for people living in the toughest places. Your generous donation of 129 Mobility Carts in November 2023 helped improve the quality of life for suffering people who otherwise would not have access to mobility aids.

Your Mobility Carts went to people in Sierra Leon, The Gambia, Guatemala, and Peru as well as to secure locations in Central Asia and the Middle East. Because of you, people’s suffering was relieved, their dignity restored, and the hope of Jesus revealed.”

December 2024 report provided by Unto, A Cru Ministry. They have been a partner with our mission family for a number of years. Our Columbia shop shipped the 129 carts mentioned to their PA warehouse: 21 Pull, 10 Small, 98 Large.

Luis was bitten by a poisonous snake (pictured 1 of 5 venomous snakes in Peru). “He sought medical attention in his remote area, but his condition worsened. So, he had to be transferred to the capital city for treatment, over eight hours away. Luis and his wife had no place to stay, and no family nearby to help. They could not afford the medical expenses… When her local pastor heard about their situation, he contacted the Unto team serving in the city… Despite the doctor’s attempts to save his leg, the poison continued to spread. Their only option was to amputate. Luis was devastated. How would he be of any use if he could no longer provide for his family? he wondered…

Just recently the Unto team provided Luis with a Mobility Cart. Through that gift Luis realized God had not forgotten him, and he can now get around freely. The gift of critical aid helped express the kindness of Jesus at Luis’ greatest point of need — and he has now committed his life to following Him.”
