Mary helps unload our 24th shipment to PFC in Kenya.

Blessings and Gratitude Start the Year

Last October, we sent the 24th overseas shipping container to Partner for Care in Kenya.  Our partnership keeps growing to help more persons.  The full container included items from both of the missions under our 501c3 (Mobility Carts and The Sewing Machine Project).  Each operates with their own funding, but sometimes we ship together to partners.  And this time, some carts were included from our sister Affiliate in Leighton, IA.  They used to be parts makers for our shop until they became a full production shop. We use donations to build and ship Mobility Carts, but also collect and send other used mobility devices that may be useful to persons with different needs.  In December, we shipped the 25th container to PFC.  THANK YOU to all supporters for making it possible to send each of these containers.  (Notes in parentheses were added for clarification.)

“Greetings,
We started our 2023 with blessings for the shipping container to make our people mobile and empower them. This is to inform, we have offloaded the container.  It arrived on Sunday morning New Year’s Day.  We have received:

100 decorated carts (from the Craft Beer & Carts fundraiser in July)
45 IA made carts
20 Pull Carts
31 sewing machines and 1 industrial machine
50 Mini-Marts
Walkers
Crutches
Wheel rollators
3 pediatric wheelchairs

32 boxes of fabric
10 rolls of fabric
3 Sammy’s boxes (Sammy is the PFC director in Kenya.)

We are grateful to Mobility Worldwide MO – Columbia for the generous donation to make our people mobile. The sewing machines to empower our people. Blessings.
