Nov 07 2018

From Partners for Care: “This afternoon together with H.E. The First Lady Kiambu County and Hon. Jane Nyokabi – MCA Kiambu County representing people living with disability, we distributed assorted mobility devices to people living with disabilities in Kiambu. The county has so far received donations worth over ksh 10 million from partners for care. The donated mobility devices, most of which will be distributed through area MCAs include new model crutches and wheel chairs with cooler boxes. The county government catered for the shipping cost of the donated items. There are more than 5,000 people living with disabilities in Kiambu. Through Jijenge Fund, my government plans on empowering them by helping them start sustainable businesses.”
